The Galaxy S21 series’s full pricing has been revealed in Europe, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra will be a pricey affair at higher storage configurations. Samsung may ask US$1,500 for a 512 GB of the Galaxy S21 Ultra, which will be the only Galaxy S21 available with more than 256 GB of storage.
It has only been a few days since 91Mobiles and Ishan Agarwal revealed some of the Galaxy S21 series prices in Europe, but Roland Quandt and WinFuture have gone further. According to Quandt, there will be no 4G versions of the Galaxy S in Europe this year, hinting that the Exynos 2100 may be a 5G-only chipset.
Additionally, Quandt claims that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will start at €1,349, rather than the €1,399 that 91Mobiles and Agarwal stated would be the price of the 128 GB model. However, VAT rate differences across the EU could explain the €50 difference here.
Quandt has fleshed out the Galaxy S21 series prices though, adding those for the 256 GB versions of the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Ultra, along with the 512 GB SKU of the latter. Unsurprisingly, the 256 GB models of all three devices will be €50 more expensive than their 128 GB counterparts. The 512 GB edition of the Galaxy S21 Ultra will come in at €1,529.
Presumably, that should equate to a US price of at least US$1,500. By comparison, a 512 GB iPhone 12 Pro Max retails for US$1,399 before taxes. The Galaxy S21 Ultra will, undoubtedly, be a fantastic smartphone. Nonetheless, Samsung will probably slash its price within a few months, making it more affordable.
