Today, a Weibo blogger released a screenshot of a post from the Mate 40 series section. The content of the post is about the Huawei P50 series.
A whistleblower who claimed to be a “company internal tester” said that the normal version of Huawei P50 series will use a 90Hz refresh rate, and the high-end version will have a 120Hz refresh rate. It is planned to be equipped with Kirin 9000 and 9000e chips. Also, the phone should adopt a top-mounted central micro-hole screen design.
In addition, the screen quality of this series is “not weaker than that of Mi 11”. Plus, it will still use rear Leica film cameras. The main imaging system is similar to that of Huawei Mate 40, but the binocular zoom factor has been increased to 200 times.
The normal version of this series of models will still support 66W wired fast charging + 50W wireless fast charging. But Huawei is considering 135W fast charging during internal meetings. However, the final consideration of battery density and durability has not yet been decided.
We also know that the machine will not come with Harmony OS 2.0 system. Thus, it will run on the EMU11 system. Prior to this, we have heard that the Huawei P50 global version will include two versions of Android and Huawei’s Harmony OS. But China will get only the Harmony OS version.
In other aspects, the Huawei P50 series will come with 4 surround speakers and an upgraded vibration motor. Just recently, we have seen many renders referring to the P50. But it turns out they are fake, except for the basic version. Although there are many colors, there is no plain leather version. The body will be lighter and thinner than that of the Mate 40.
