Complete specifications of the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro are now listed on T-Mobile just ahead of their March 23 launch. The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro feature a near-identical spec sheet with the primary differences being with respect to the display and camera setup.
OnePlus will be launching the OnePlus 9 Series on March 23. So far, various aspects of the devices were either leaked or teased by CEO Carl Pei himself, but T-Mobile now has put up the entire spec sheet on its website. The following is a comparative look at some of the main specifications of the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro as listed on T-Mobile.
The differences between the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro primarily lie in the display and camera specifications. The OnePlus 9 Pro offers a 6.78-inch Fluid AMOLED QHD+ display while the OnePlus 9 makes do with a 6.55-inch FHD+ variant. Both the phones are slated to offer a 120 Hz refresh rate.
However, the T-Mobile listing gets the display spec wrong with respect to the colors on the OnePlus 9 Pro — it lists it as 16 million, but we already know that the 9 Pro will feature a 10-bit panel, which means the display actually supports 1 billion colors.
Both the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro will sport a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 65 W fast-charging and are also slated to have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
The highlight of the launch is, of course, OnePlus’s new found partnership with Hasselblad. It remains to be seen what this collaboration has resulted in terms of camera hardware and software enhancements.
Alongside the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, we also expect a OnePlus 9R variant powered by the Snapdragon 690 and a OnePlus Watch as well. The OnePlus 9R, however, will be an India-exclusive variant for now.
